Give Forward in the Season's Spirit
And we'll have a Happy New Year If everyone would perform one good deed a day and when thanked, would convince the person to, instead of reciprocating, GIVE FORWARD. If we look back into recent history, greed took over our lives. Everyone wanted more for themselves. ME-ME-ME. And what is left? Piles of unused stuff and light wallets everywhere. Was it really worth it? Nowadays many are struggling to survive and we are back to the same pattern: We take whatever we can to survive. But... If everyone would shift their thinking, just a little, by offering to help one another first, and convincing people to GIVE THE ACT FORWARD, think how much joy and support would be shared in our society? So what incentive is there to do this? I call it the "Positive Pyramid effect." If you are first and unique at helping others you will benefit from a wave of support from the people you helped. Modern on-line communication (social media included) facilitates the syndication of good deeds. You get noticed, referrals and help when you need it ... Business. Why? It is your fan-base thanking you for your help. Ask Dave Kerpen of Likeable. He is a success story. Look at Chris Brogan ... They are examples. And there are many others like them. Social media is all about giving forward.. Sharing ideas. It would be so simple for everyone to act on this idea. Offering information and sharing ideas. My mandate for 2011 was to be very active on the social networks, helping others by sharing connectivity, networking and giving out information. Watch this video:Here is how we have been giving forward:Starting early in 2011, we set out to create an information syndication system that helps everyone we touch. Yes... it helped others and it also helped us. We got buisness from it.
